Pluto Security Raises $42M to Enhance AI Security

Pluto Security has announced a $42 million funding round aimed at helping enterprises secure their AI agents.

Pluto Security Inc., a provider of artificial intelligence security software, recently announced that it has raised $42 million in funding. About one-fifth of this amount was raised through a seed round led by TLV Partners, while the remainder came from a Series A investment led by Jump Capital. Pluto's solution is designed to automatically identify AI agents within corporate networks, helping administrators detect potential cybersecurity risks. The platform can automatically map AI agents across employee endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and software-as-a-service applications, collecting detailed telemetry data about each agent it detects. Pluto's system can intervene when an agent attempts to perform risky actions, ensuring that corporate security policies are enforced. The company's goal is to help enterprises effectively manage the use of AI tools by monitoring agent behavior in real time, thereby reducing security risks. Pluto plans to use the new funding to expand its workforce, enhance its commercial offerings, and invest more in cybersecurity research.
